When two objects with different charges come into contact, an electrostatic discharge occurs which can impair the functionality of sensitive components. This can be avoided with ESD trolleys from fetra. These ESD devices are electrically conductive and therefore protect sensitive components against damage caused by electrical discharge.

What makes our ESD trolleys so special?

All ESD transport trolleys are powder-coated in RAL 7015 slate gray conductive. The shelves are made of electrically conductive wood-based panels in light gray in accordance with DIN 68765. Our ESD TPE castors (thermoplastic elastomer) also contribute to optimum conductivity. These are a proprietary fetra development. Thanks to the hubs with precision deep groove ball bearings, the castors offer many advantages on level floors and are characterized by low rolling resistance. They are odorless and non-marking. The fetra ESD trolleys are fitted with brakes on the swivel castors (in accordance with EN 1757-3 - Safety of platform trolleys).
